Choose this stunning tropical plant and take good care of it and it will reward you with gorgeous, deep green foliage, with large, heart-shaped leaves and a lovely velvety texture. What's not to love!

Scientific Name
Anthurium clarinervium (flower-tail plant with white veins)

Common Name
Giant Lace Leaf, Queen Anthurium, White-Veined Anthurium, Velvet Cardboard Anthurium

Origin
Native to South & Central America, especially Southern Mexico, where it was first found.

Light
This plant will love a bright spot in your home- make sure it gets indirect light in summer, as hot sun could scorch it at this time of year, and then let it get a few hours of direct sun in autumn and winter.

Water
Let the top third of soil dry out between waters, and make sure to reduce watering in autumn and winter. Make sure your water is room-temperature, and if using tapwater, leave it to stand for 24 hours to allow the chemicals in it to settle.

Humidity
This plant likes slightly higher-than-average humidity, and will appreciate the introduction of a humidity tray

Soil
Use a light, airy, well-draining soil which also retains moisture well. One designed for Anthuriums or Orchids, or a mix containing added bark, coir and perlite, will work well here. Repot every couple of years in Spring as the plant grows.

Food
Feed every four waters in the growing season, reduce to every six in autumn and winter.

Temperature
Likes warmer temperatures over in the day, must stay between 15-24°C; watch the temperature especially in winter, as if it's too cold for too long it will get damaged permanently.

Pet-safe
No, this plant is toxic to pets and small humans.

Sprouts Top Tips
A clear sign of distress in this plant is yellowing sections of leaves with brown halos; it has many possible causes so here are the main issues to check up on:

Is it too dark? This will also stop the soil drying out quickly. If you have mould on top of the soil this is probably what the problem is.

Are you watering with cold water? Make sure you use room-temperature or warmer water. If you're using tapwater let it stand for 24 hours first.
Are you fertilising the plant? If it isn't getting enough nutrients it won't be able to grow healthily!

Our first babies favorite and longest lasting ball yet and he is fixing to be 7.
Style: Ball, Size: Medium (Pack of 2), Style: Ball, Size: Medium (Pack of 2)
Toughest ball we have found yet. Our doberman loves Chuckit! Balls especially the crunch one. He spreads all the balls and toys we have bought but these lasted the longest. The crunch and the glow in the dark are usually his pick but he has several different choices.

Well made, lots of puppy fun
Color: Red
The dog loves this, has actually held together pretty well. She is a German Shorthair, so having a toy last this long with only the deer's feet chewed off is pretty good.

Thank You Qiiiiian For Creating Such a Touch & Resilient Dog Toy
Color: Brown
This Qiiiiiian Squeaky Dog Toy is AMAZING!! My Heeler Maggie, goes through toys like water through a sieve. She either hates it and ignores it or loves it to pieces, literally. She tears her toys apart to get the squeaker out and then it ends up in the garbage. This toy has been with her now for over 2 weeks!! That is a record in this house, no other toy has ever survived this long! This large platypus toy is made from very durable materials. It is very well made and stitched securely showing no weakness. Filled with crinkle paper inside, and so far she hasn't torn it open, so I'm still so amazed by this! Talk about tough. Heeler may not have the hardest bite force but they sure are stubborn and one they decide that they are toy destroyers, good luck to any toy that arrives here, except for this platypus toy by Qiiiiian. She has almost given up, and now just sleeps with it, which I must admit, it's absolutely adorable. I never knew she had a soft & gentle side. This toy is priced much lower than expected for the quality and durability. Yes, I've ordered 4 more for friends and family, and one for her, just in case. At prices like this, toy cannot go wrong for such a large durable, well made dog toy that is both chew-resistent and Heller Proof!

I'd buy again
Color: Purple
My dog loves this. The legs are curled in and stretch a good distance making it perfect for her playing by herself or playing tug of war! So far it's been pretty sturdy but I've only had it a week. My dog is a yellow lab and the size has been good for her

Over all a great toy!
Color: Red A, Color: Red A
This is a nice functional toy that doesn’t cost a whole lot. My dog has played many times with my husband: fetch, tug and just chewing on this reindeer. It also has several textures for him: smooth felt antlers and nose, rougher feet and hands( filled with squeakers, bumpy skin and its arms and legs can be pulled through the body. Just a great toy to be interactive and it can be machine washed. It is one I would buy again!
